After a successful first attempt at the Low-Income Challenge, some members of the 2016 team along with new members gathered to tackle the challenge the following year. The 2017 entry for the Low-Income Housing Challenge also focused on creating a multi-purpose low-income housing project, but this time in South Tucson, AZ. The new design focused heavily on Hispanic family values and architectural features such as courtyards and community spaces.
