Using state-of-the-art parametric modeling software, this screen design came to be when the client asked for an organic pattern on their shading structure to protect the west façade the harsh sun light against its glass façade. After talking to local steel manufacturers, it turned out that having a custom pattern would be the same price as a generic pattern.
